Seems fitting. And remember when ESPN got good fights? This was an outclassing by a rugged veteran against an undefeated young guy with a big punch who just was not prepared for the onslaught that was coming from a top-notch fighter. Last night Miguel Cotto destroyed Alfonso Gomez, after the first round the fight took on a very pitiful quality. I’m not ashamed to admit I despise Cotto, so seeing him act so cocky while simultaneously killing Gomez was not fun to watch.
