... The Yanks snapped their winless streak against Detroit yesterday. Darrell Rasner was competent, reminding the Captain of Jon Leiber. Speaking of Derek Jeter, he finally hit a homer, and has been rewarded today with the clean-up spot in the line-up. Signs point to this being a rain out, which is fine, as Ben at River Ave Blues points out. A cancellation today means we don't have to see Kei Igawa this week. He's praying for rain. Myself? In fact, it gets worse around 7 p.m. This is the last game of the series and it's the Yankees' only trip to this wonderful city of the season, so they may do all they can to try and get this game in.
