 Are Celtics Fans Obnoxious? Links0
We are only 27 games into the season and the team has as many wins this year (24) as it did all last year. That kind of turnaround is enough to make any fan base get a little bit giddy. But there's a growing sentiment around the country that Celtics fans are getting on people's nerves. [link]

Assuming they're from New England, I think you have your answer.

The title's supposed to read "Aren't Celtics Fans Obnoxious?" right?

When I other teams' watch games on NBA League Pass, I'm almost always struck by how boring the announcers are.  When other teams' fans watch Celtics games, they are shocked by how loud and homerish Tommy Heinson is.  His target audience is Celtics fans, but more and more non-C's fans are getting the CSN feed and are put off by it.

No no no--Heinsohn is pure comedy gold.  His zaniness alone practically justifies the cost of a league pass subscription.

Totally agree. I catch Heinsohn not more than 5 times a year up here, but his Grandpa Simpson-ness is gold. He'll totally go on a tangent that should be its own comedy show -- especially when the action on the court is boring.

Are you trying to say fans of a Boston team are annoying? That's outlandish.

Yea, let me just on the band-wagon to say.....It ain't Celtics fans. It's Boston fans. Red Sox fans with their new found entitlement is the worst.

yes, the Sox/Pats carryover is one of my main points

Seems silly to be sick of the Celtics when they haven't won anything in 20 years.

I'm not sick of the Celtics -- and if they didn't pose such an immediate threat to the Magic, I'd probably root for them out of respect for Ticket -- but the city's recent sports successes have made it hard to stomach any Boston news.

Anyone sick of the Bruins? I ask only because I can't be sure people watch/care about hockey anymore.

That's true, but they've been whining for the past 20 years as well.  Haha
