I could swear I read somewhere recently acknowledging that steals lose value when the draft ends. It’s something that I came to the realization of the hard way when trying to trade Juan Pierre a couple of years ago, but wasn’t sure if it was correct or if it was, then why. I now believe that steals, mainly from players whose value is mostly derived from steals, are indeed worth less post-draft... [link]
