The entire Arsenal team — players, staff, even cleaning people — have offered up their salaries from today’s game for Treehouse, a charity that benefits families affected by autism. (And yes, I’m certain it was completely voluntary. No coercion whatsoever .) So how much money are we talking here? Well, according to The Independent , the average Premiership salary in 2006 was $26,000. No, that’s per week . This means that a day’s wages, on average, is about $3700. Yes, $3700.
