Watching the Skills Competition So You Don’t Have To [The New NHL]
We Eat Children — ... of the typical bull’s eyes. I would have preferred pictures of Gary Bettman’s face.  This event seemed kind of cool back when I was 10, but now it just reeks of shitty corporate shilling. The All-Star weekend pulled in $10 million for the NHL. In a league as cash-strapped as the NHL, any extra revenue you can get is golden, as much as I would like it to disappear All-Star weekend is never going away nor is it likely to improve into a watchable event.  Read Puck Daddy’s recap  Kukla’s Corner has another run-down
