Players are starting to drop like flies as clubs are notifying who’s staying and who’s leaving as the transfer window approaches.
Aston Villa has released Patrick Berger and Thomas Sorensen and Wigan has released Josip Skoko and Saloman Olembe.
The biggest name to hit the media (Ives had it first) was Portugal’s Deco, shown the door by Barcelona.

UPDATE - The only survived the drop by a point and now Bolton boss Gary Megson is making changes to the squad that he inherited. Ivan Campo, Stelios Giannakopoulos and Andranik Teymourian have been shown the door.
