The Colorado Avalanche have fired head coach Joel Quenneville after three seasons behind the bench for the NHL club. Quenneville in his time in Denver went 131-92-23 but was only 2-2 in playoff series. Quenneville had taken over the team which was slipping on it’s way down to the bottom of the league after nearly a decade at or near the top that saw them win two Stanley Cup . [link]
