NEWARK - Sean Avery's innovative tactic of trying to faceguard Devils goaltender Martin Brodeur was the hot topic at Prudential Center yesterday. Even though the Devils' 4-3 overtime win in Game 3 Sunday pulled them within 2-1 in the best-of-seven series against the Rangers, the Devils spent much of their time talking about Avery. [link]
