I really feel for Bartman.  I never thought he deserved to be vilified the way he was.  I'm glad he's moved on & sorry for what he had to go through.

There were 5 people reaching for the ball. If Moises wanted the ball he should have taken the ball. I have never blamed the fella.

Steve Bartman Still Attends Cubs Games
Published 4/1/2008 by Tom Fornelli at FanHouse

One of the things we find out about Bartman in the interview? Turns out, he's still going to Cubs games. Cubs playoff games. ...

I was duped into believing an interview with Steve Bartman over at Bugs & Cranks was real, completely oblivious to the fact that yesterday was April Fool's Day until it was too late. I wrote up the entire post and ...

... to catch the ball. All of a sudden, there's a hand on my glove." He didn't have kind words for Bartman on that night either. "Hopefully, he won't have to regret it for the rest of his life," he said. I can understand the frustrations of Cubs fans; however, it is just a game -- they need to let this incident go and focus on this year. Blame Alex Gonzalez and it's not like the Cubs won game seven. Meanwhile, Bugs and Cranks have managed to hunt down Steve Bartman and get an interview with him...

... *A win tonight over Calgary clinches the division for the Wild and also sets up a potentially interesting scenario for Sunday’s finale at Colorado. Do they take their foot off the gas to both rest players and potentially help Colorado get the No. 6 seed (thus avoiding a first-round matchup with nemesis Calgary) or do they go full-throttle and avoid messing with karma? But first: win tonight. *Baseball hair. *Some solid April Fools work, including Steve Bartman and the Fasola-link! about a fake baseball card.
