I don’t know about the readers, but I barely was able to watch the Cardinals game last night considering the first hour aired opposite the riveting ESPYs nomination special on ESPN.  Finally the folks in Bristol have found a way to add more television intrigue to the phenomenon that is the ESPY Awards.  I personally have $500 down on skier Lindsey Vonn for Best Female Athlete and will be on pins and needles the whole night to see who wins.  And I don’t care what anyone says, the “Hummer Like No Other” Award is one of the most prestigious titles in sports.  Todd Wellemeyer struggles keeping the Mets off the bases in the Cards ...
