... Check out True Hoop's post about a Jawnny Couga (that's John Mellencamp for those outside of Indiana) interview with Blender magazine. In one of his answers, Mellencamp casually mentions that Larry Joe Legend and Kevin McHale would "smoke him under the table" after shows when he was in Boston.

... I’ve known Larry Bird since we were kids. When he was on the Celtics and I was playing in Boston, he and Kevin McHale would come to my dressing room after the show and smoke me under the table. Now there ' s a lot of directions I could go with this quote.  Henry of TrueHoop (who unearthed this story) questioned how it makes Bird and McHale look in their new positions (positions where they must deal with moral issues).
