dawg99pound I would not pretend that race isn't a factor at Auburn, but it may not be in this case. It is their decision to hire the man that fits their program the best. Chizik has had great success as a defensive coordinator for 2 of the best defenses in recent years. Can he carry this over to a head coaching job at Auburn? He couldn't at Iowa State. But he didn't have the resources at ISU. If he is able to pull in some other great Auburn men to be his coordinators, he will be able to ride their coat-tails to a fine legacy.
