TWO WEEKS, TWO FINES FOR BARNETT
ProFootballTalk.com — Packers linebacker Nick Barnett gave up his paycheck for Week One against the Vikings for violating the Personal Conduct Policy.  He came out of that game in the hole, thanks to a $7,500 fine for a horse-collar tackle. Barnett got a paycheck for Week Two against the Lions, but he lost another $7,500 due to a shoulder-to-helmet hit on quarterback Jon Kitna.“ Why would I be fined ?” Barnett said Wednesday when asked about possibly being fined.  “He was out of the pocket.  He was a running back.  How are you supposed to tackle the guy?” Barnett plans to appeal the fine.
