Nice article I agree with you, but I believe that people don't truly change unless something seriously life altering occurs.  All the seminars to teach people how to be more motivative.

Wednesday Bullets
ESPN.com - TrueHoop — ... Ryan Schwan of Hornets247: "I knew that Baron wasn't staying in Golden State from the moment Don Nelson benched him in an important game late last season. With that one action Nelson had become a roadblock. An annoyance. Baron doesn't deal with those, he just goes somewhere else. He's done it before. The tipping point for Baron wanting to leave the Hornets was when the Hornets passed a team rule excluding personal trainers from the practice center. Baron wanted his, and in a petulant snit, he brought his trainer to the center and stretched with him ...

Offseason Off The Wall: 7.2.08
Hardwood Paroxysm — ... in both places. If you look at it, though, this isn't a sneak-off move, it's not Carlos Boozer, nor is it anything but a guy trying to secure his financial future (exorbitant though it may be). LA offered him a longer contract for more total money than the Warriors were willing to. All three sides of this did the right thing. Nothing in Return
ballhype.com 7/2/2008 — The big news in Oakland tonight: the impending departure of Baron Davis. Because Baron's opting out of his contract and signing with the Clippers, the Warriors will soon have nothing to show for their top star but memories of last year's playoff run . Unfortunately, losing talent for pennies on the dollar is nothing new for Warriors fans—it happens on a regular basis. Don't believe ...
Free Agents the Warriors could get
fantasysportsmatrix.com 7/2/2008 — I went through the list of ’08 free agents and have noted those who are restricted and unrestricted. This isn’t all of them, rather what I consider to be the cream of the crop and what Mullin should be spending 24 hours a day looking at in an effort to clean up the mess that Baron left

Waving the White Flag From the Left Side of the Blogosphere
wcbias.com 7/2/2008 — I give up. It seems like every blog I’ve written this week has backfired. First, I punch out a take on how Baron Davis “wants to be in the Bay,” citing his own blog, and that he’ll probably remain in Golden State despite becoming an unrestricted free agent. (Hours later, reports have him going to L.A.). Then I cite an AP story reporting the Hall of Fame doesn't want Bonds' 756th home run ...
