ST. PETERSBURG -- A day after playing a significant role in the Rays' 7-6 Wednesday night win over the Red Sox, shortstop Jason Bartlett was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a right knee sprain on Thursday. To take Bartlett's place, the Rays recalled shortstop Ben Zobrist and selected Reid Brignac from Triple-A Durham. To make room, right-hander Mitch Talbot was optioned to Durham. ...
