It had previously been reported that Rasner's father told a Nevada newspaper that Rasner would re-sign with the Yankees. Baseball America seems to have confirmed it. Chad Jennings reports that Darrel Rasner has signed a minor league deal with the Yankees. He'd have to win back his spot on the 40-man before he can make the team, so for now he's just minor league filler. Oh yeah, somebody else re-signed with the Yankees, too. He got a major league deal.
