In the eighth of a 10-part series, the author takes an in-depth look at Major League Baseball history from 1971 to 1980. This is pretty much a one-topic issue: the 1970s. It takes us up to 1980, so just two decades to go in this series. I found that writing about the Seventies was just as much fun as the Sixties.
