After 50 years...I bet the Red Dye No. 2 pollutant from the ‘58 Mickey Mantle attached to Bob Costas’ droopy ass has worked it’s way up to his amyloadosis-filled brain. ‘’I understand with newspapers struggling and hoping to hold on to, or possibly expand their audiences, I understand why they do what they do,’’ Costas said. ‘But it’s one thing if somebody just sets up a blog from their ... What About Bob?
Published 3/15/2008 by StatsGuru at Baseball Musings
So Bob Costas doesn't like bloggers either ? That's too bad. When Bob was stuck working the "B" game for NBC on Saturdays, I thought it was a shame. Costas was smooth, knew his game and worked well with his analyst. I looked forward to him becoming the voice of baseball on the network. Then, CBS came in and offered a billion dollars for exclusive rights, and before Bob could take the chair held previously by Curt Gowdy and Vin Scully, Sean McDonough got the job. Another Guy Who Hates Bloggers: Bob Costas

I have always respected Bob Costas, and have loved his shows; however, he's off base with his comments on blogs and their importance in the sports world today. MVN's Anthony Hall has an excellent piece on Costas' words to the Miami Herald, in a piece titled "You're On Notice, Bob Costas", which basically calls out the popular sports personality on his words. It makes me wonder what the ...
