As expected, Boston College has fired head football coach Jeff Jagodzinski . The move is expected to be announced at a 3:00 p.m. EST press conference. Athletic Director Gene DeFilippo reportedly warned Jagodzinski that he’d be fired if he interviewed for the Jets’ head-coaching job. Earlier today, Dan Patrick reported that DeFilippo was miffed because he learned of the interview not from Jagodzinski, but from a reporter.
