Washington awaiting Bears' answer on Briggs trade
sports.espn.go.com 4/3/2007 — As a Bears fan I'm hoping for this trade. A high draft pick for the Bears would be great and I'm convinced that Briggs is a little over-rated. The Bears had great linebackers in Warrick Holdman and Roosvelt Colvin. Both left and both aren't nearly as good as they were. I really think playing next to Urlacher made them more valuable and I think it has done the same thing to Briggs.
