... . Belichick appears happy with the Hobson addition, noting that ,“Victor is a good young player with considerable playing experience. We are excited about his addition to our linebacker unit .” This signing does call to question: Will this signing affect the Patriots’ strategy on draft day? Are they now satisfied with their LB unit enough to draft elsewhere in Round 1? My guess is that this signing has no bearing on the Pats’ draft strategy. Again, Hobson did sign just a one-year deal. He could be re-signed during the season if he works out well, but he shouldn’t be thought ...
