BELL SAYS “I AIN’T NO THIEF”
ProFootballTalk.com —
Former Lions running back Tatum Bell denies that he stole anything from new Lions running back Rudi Johnson. “ I ain’t no thief ,” Bell told the Detroit Free Press in a phone interview regarding Johnson’s contention that Bell stole two bags while Johnson visited the team facility on Monday. “I ain’t never been one, and I ain’t never going to be one.” (Doesn’t that technically mean he is a thief, he has been one, and he will be one again?) Bell claims that he thought Johnson’s two Gucci bags belonged to former teammate Victor DeGrate, whom the Lions had released on Saturday. Bell says DeGrate had asked Bell to retrieve his backpack. “I didn’t have a ...

Tatum Bell Prefers Gucci
Double Extra Point —
... Former Oklahoma State running back Tatum Bell, who was recently cut by the Detroit Lions to make room for former Cincinnati Bengal running back Rudi Johnson, just made Oklahoma State Cowboy alumns proud. While Johnson was in President Matt Millen's office finalizing his contract with the Lions, Bell took a stroll through the club house after he cleaned out his locker and stole two of Johnson's Gucci bags - apparently which were sitting outside of Millen's office. Small White Ball —
From the 'Not Surprising, But Funny' file, new Detroit Lions running back Rudi Johnson (seen here) is claiming that now former Lions running back Tatum Bell stole his bags when they crossed over earlier this week. Bell was released almost immediately following Johnson's signing, following the latter's discharge from the Bengals. Security footage has Bell taking the bags with him upon leaving the facility, but Bell claims it was a misunderstanding and that he took the wrong luggage. Somehow along the way, the bags made it to Victor ...

So Halloween is a couple days away and yours truly has yet to come up with a costume or a plan for the evening. Regardless of where I end up, chances are no one there will have a costume that can touch that of former Lion and current Cowboy receiver Roy Williams, who showed up to the Lions' charity party on Monday to help support former teammate Mike Furrey. From MLive:
Williams came dressed as former Lions running back Tatum Bell, who
made national headlines two months ago when he was accused of pilfering
the travel bags of Detroit running back Rudi Johnson. Williams was
wearing a bellhop uniform with a big name tag that said ...
