Vote For Ben's Phoenix Suns Blog
Sharapova's Thigh — A great blog and a friend of the Thigh needs your vote. Ben's Phoenix Suns Blog is up for "Best Suns Blog" at LaBallTalk(click here to vote!) . Let's get him to the top, and also vote for Blog-A-Bull for "Best Bulls Blog" if you can. I'm a big fan of the site, and we have them linked here as well. Anyway, Ben's been blogging his ass off with great Suns material of late, so make sure to keep checking it out. Great basketball analysis over there. You don't have to be a Suns fan to enjoy it, but if you are, you'll become addicted. BallHype: hype it up! Add to ...

As I mentioned earlier, the results would be published on the day of the season opener, which is today. Congratulations to all the teams that have competed in the Top Team Blog Contest. Welcome Ben
Bright Side Of The Sun — It's been a busy few days in Suns land so I haven't had a chance to formally introduce our new featured author, Suns Ben. Ben comes to us from his own blog the aptly named Ben's Phoenix Suns Blog where he pontificated on the home team. While Ben might lack in rude, sarcastic and bad humor (and creative name calling) he more then makes up for in high basketball IQ and silky smooth keyboard skills. Ben is a former semi-pro point guard and a long time Suns fan. Welcome Ben!

Terry Porter's Attempt to Rescue the Sinking Suns
Moderately Cerebral Bias — ... and Amare will complain. Shaq's passing will continue to need improvement, and Amare will struggle in the high post. I'm concerned that Terry Porter will be fired before he gets a chance to make his plan work. Is Steve Kerr willing to stand behind his choice? We'll see in the next two months. By the way, the Suns are merely my team of choice to follow in the 2008-2009 season. For regular Suns content, see the following: Bright Side of the Sun Ben's Suns Blog The Shaq figure pictures that didn't quite make the post. ...

Game Thread: Bucks/Suns
Brew Hoop — ... the past four years under D'Antoni, Phoenix now ranks just 23rd.  Perhaps spoiled by four years of the most entertaining basketball this side of the Globetrotters, Porter's Suns were even deemed "unwatchable" last week by Paola Bolvin of the Arizona Republic.  We here in Milwaukee know something about unwatchable basketball, so Bolvin might want to stay away from tonight's game. Kareem and the Curse of the Coin Flip: Why one Suns fan wanted to beat the Bucks by 50 (not 15)
Milwaukee Bucks Blog - The Bob Boozer Jinx — ... Found a fun fanblog today, or rather the blogger found me on Ballhype -- Ben's Suns Blog. Ben's a diehard fan who's been following his Suns for 20 years, about the same amount of time he's been playing ball. Just as I've traced the source of the Bucks woes back to the retirement of Bob Boozer and the resulting jinx at the power forward position, Ben traces the Suns history of agony back to a flip of the coin for the rights to draft UCLA center Lew Alcindor. ...
