Uh, Make That Ex-Bengals Player
EveryJoe » Sports Rumors — We just did a post about how Cincinnati Bengals player Chris Henry got arrested again, this time for letting his fists do the talking. And now he’s an Ex-Bengals player. Like Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan, Clemens and McNamee, and Cedrick Wilson and the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chris Henry and the Bengals are together no more. Bengals Release Henry
MVN Outsider — ESPN.com reports that the Bengals have cut wide receiver Chris Henry following yet another arrest, being charged of assault. Last night Henry turned himself in to authorities after a student at Cincinnati accused him of breaking his windshield and punching him in the face. Henry has entered a not guilty plea and will be out on bail soon. This is a pretty big surprise, as Henry has not been found guilty yet and hasn’t admitted to anything. Still, its probably the smart move by the Bengals, as they’ve given Henry a second chance after at least five incidents. He is yet to grow in maturity, and is just a distraction if he’s not playing ...

FanHouse — Filed under: Bengals, AFC North, Pressing Issues, Cincinnati Just when it seemed like Marvin Lewis and Chad Johnson were once again BFFs, Mr. Cinco, during an ESPN radio appearance, finds out that the organization released full-time felon/part-time professional football player Chris Henry. "Are you sure? Man, they can't let him go. That dude is good. He's very, very good," Johnson said on 1050 ESPN New York. "We need him. Those are not easy shoes to fill, regardless of the trouble he has gotten into in the past," Johnson said. Johnson makes a good point. Unofficially, ...
