I’m going to take a different approach and just list the top rivalries of all time in each of the following sports: NFL football, college football, golf, hockey, horse racing, boxing, college basketball, NBA basketball and MLB baseball.

    I would think the most intense rivalries are those in high school sports, where the combatants and the fans of both teams often interact on a daily basis. Those kinds of rivalires have a way of dividing families, and sometimes the towns themselves actually hate each other with a passion!
