Sunday Scene, Week 11: Indy refuses to lose (and it's a problem)
Roto Arcade —
If you've invested in the Indianapolis offense this season, Sunday was a terrible day. Miserable. It might have been the worst day of your fantasy year. That's not to say that you lost your Week 11 matchup, of course. The Colts' skill position players all delivered acceptable lines in the win against the Ravens. Peyton Manning(notes) threw for 299 yards, Dallas Clark(notes) and Joseph Addai(notes) each scored touchdowns and Reggie Wayne(notes) finished with seven receptions for 89 yards. But we also moved a few steps closer to the nightmare scenario ...

... Ladell Betts has a torn MCL and Chad Rinehart has a broken fibula, according to Redskins head coach Jim Zorn. Betts will have an MRI tomorrow. "It is bleak," Zorn said. "Being 3-7 is bleak." Zorn added that Clinton Portis will be out next week, although he's not yet a candidate for the injured-reserve list.

Ladell Betts has torn MCL
ProFootballTalk.com —
The Redskins lost a game 7-6 to the Cowboys on Sunday afternoon and they also lost tailback Ladell Betts. Betts left the game with an injury to his left knee on the team's second possession, and coach Jim Zorn told reporters after the game that the running back tore his MCL . Rock Cartwright and Quinton Ganther carried the load the rest of the way, but the team may be in the market for another tailback this week. Why? Because Zorn also told Rick Maese of the Washington Post that Clinton Portis ...

Redskins Lose to Dallas, Situation is ‘Bleak’
Stet Sports Blog —
... Where do you begin with today’s choke job? Missed field goals? Porous defense in the late stages of the game? Injuries that limited any hope for offensive balance? And yet, as late as could be without actually winning, the Redskins were in position to win. ...
Redskins-Cowboys Winners & Losers
Mr. Irrelevant, a D.C. Sports Blog From the Brothers Mottram —
WINNERS
Rock Cartwright — It seemed like curtains for the run game when Ladell went down early, but Rock ran well and did damage in the pass game too (career-high 140 yards from scrimmage). It was almost enough.
The defense — Shutting Dallas out for 55 minutes and giving up only seven points is quite a feat. A wasted feat, sure, but a feat nonetheless.
Burgundy-on-burgundy — They looked good out there today.
LOSERS
Shaun Suisham — The missed 50-yarder was to be expected (he is 3-9 career from 50-plus after all), but the hooked 39-yarder to end ...
