Glen Davis, one of the Celtics key components off the bench, could miss a significant time due to a right thumb injury. The injury occurred away from the basketball Sunday night between Davis and a former Louisiana State teammate, according to the Boston Herald.
The article also states that Davis was defending himself. The power forward underwent x-rays on Sunday and will undergo more tests to grasp the full effect of the injury. There is no word yet if the injury will require surgery.
