... More pertinent for Hawks fans is the fact that Walsh plucked Mike Holmgren from BYU in 1986 to be his quarterbacks coach, and taught him the West Coast offense. Holmgren was an assistant under Walsh for three season. Here's the full Bill Walsh coaching tree.
