San Diego's top prospect is on his way to PETCO. The 22-year-old Blanks is an absolute mountain (6-6, 285). Check the tape: Blanks was batting .283 with 12 home runs and a .393 on-base percentage at Triple-A Portland. He hit .325/.404/.514 with 20 homers and 107 RBIs at Double-A in '08, winning the Topps Texas League Player of the Year.
