Two comebacks in a row would be a bit much to ask for, wouldn't it? Especially in a game where the Blazers played prolonged stretches of putrid defense combined with shabby offensive execution. They never seemed to develop any true rhythm and even when the Mavs tried their damnedest to hand them ...

Blazers, Mavericks Pre-Thoughts
ripcityproject.com 2/4/2009 — Let's start this off by saying that the Dallas Mavericks have gotten a bit of a bad rap ever since the Jason Kidd trade. By that I mean that once people decided/realized that the Mavs weren't taking any great leaps with a veteran PG instead of Devin ...

A pretty big loss for a couple reasons. One the tie-breaker obviously goes to Dallas which in this tight race makes me nervous. Second, it erases the Laker ...

Sanguine: Blazers Not There Yet, Drop to Mavs 99-104
loadedorygun.net 2/5/2009 — I chose sanguinity as the theme for tonight's wrapup, because while I also laid down some buzzkilling reality in the title--the Blazers are not as good as the Dallas Mavericks, just as they did not appear to be as good as the New Orleans Hornets, and ...
