The regular season ends tonight, and for the junkie, this one of the stranger days of the season. Lottery teams play out the string, but instead of moping through one last run up and down the court, a sense of melancholy usually takes hold. There's little anger, and mostly a tinge of sadness mixed with a smirking resignation that this is it, for one more year. It's an odd watch.
