In this "humorous" column that would be rightly mocked in a 30,000-circulation paper (the Globe's circulation is 368,000 and falling rapidly), Shaughnessy portrays all fans who ask Schilling questions as slobbering sycophants who wish only to massage Schilling's, um, ego. At firejoemorgan.com, they show the opposite is true.

... If Shaughnessy thinks the people who log on to Schilling's blog are "fanboys" and "sycophants" — and most of them aren't, they're simply asking the questions that lazy, jaded journalists who hate baseball and get "bored" at spring training won't — he should take a look at this site.
