Blues Send Pietrangelo To Juniors
St. Louis Game Time — By Sean Gallagher The Blues announced today that defenseman Alex Pietrangelo was returned to his junior club after eight games in the NHL. Pietrangelo posted one assist in those eight games, but seemed to be looking stronger each contest. Orange Jello will suit up for the Niagra Ice Dogs again and is not eligible to return to the NHL this season. In his place, the Blues re-called Jeff Woywitka to play defense. They also re-called Cam Paddock from Peoria, meaning that the Blues currently carry two Cams in the lineup. As Brad Lee put it, “Somewhere, Cam Neely is smiling.”
