The New England Patriots using their final draft choice in the 2008 NFL Draft have chosen Nebraska OLB Bo Ruud with the 197 th overall pick. The Patriots did have a 7th round pick but traded it earlier in the day in a seperate deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
