UPDATE Bobby Knight's top 10 sound bites: Couple of points about that: #10 - Now that's an uncomfortable interview. #5 - Yikes. You could still make the argument that they didn't include the most ...

... coaching the bubble team for the remainder of the season. Knight’s been coaching since 1965; perhaps this is the end. Published 2/5/2008 by TH <info@carolinamarch.com> at Carolina March: Front Page Posts
... Bob Knight suddenly retires. I have a tendency to think the worst of Knight, and that includes questions about what kind of person would abandon a team mideseason, or musings about the coincidence of it occurring so soon after the win odometer rolled over for the man. But I'm not in his head and shouldn't speculate. I am interested in how quick the move was to be praised by the ESPN halftime crew of the UNC-Duke women's game. I on the record as believing that passing coaching jobs to your kids is a ...

02/05 Morning Minute: So Long, Bobby
Published 2/5/2008 by Scott at WaitingForNextYear
Wow, I have to apologize for the later post today.  It took me a while to get through all of the quality posts that went up yesterday.  I definitely recommend checking them out - especially the interview with Brian Cook.  Good stuff, regardless of allegiance. What will likely be the biggest news today has nothing to do with Cleveland at all.  Bobby Knight calling it quits during the middle of the season - with March Madness right around the corner - is surprising to say the least.  Thankfully, the “unknown reasons” behind his leaving have been uncovered in a matter of hours: ...
