Bombshell detonates in Raiderland-Kiffin wanted Arkansas job
Today profootballtalk.com reported that Lane Kiffin was “pissed” that Bobby Patrino was hired for the head coaching job at Arkansas. Wow! In his first year, he has brought some respectability to the Raiders that has not been seen since 2002, and rather than seeing it through and being “In” like he stressed to the team, he was ready to bolt for a college job.

What a J-Bucket
lowpercentage.wordpress.com 12/12/2007 — I’m not one to commiserate with UofL fans after they’ve been screwed over by a coach who cut and run for the NFL, only to return to the NCAA for another team. If the Raiders’ defense can get to Peyton Manning and stop Joseph Addai, the Raiders have a good chance.

mvn.com 12/14/2007 — After the smoke filled rumor fest that was yesterday, two facts remain Bobby Patrino did in fact quit on the Atlanta Falcons to become head coach at Arkansas and Lane Kiffin is still the head coach of the Oakland Raiders. Lane Kiffin should continue to be the head coach of the Oakland Raiders for the next several years based upon his progress so far. Kiffin has shown that he has what it takes ...
