The blogosphere is loaded with commentary about what Tigers general manager Dave Dombrowski ought to do, and one prevailing suggestion is hiring Barry Bonds - the talk escalated when designated hitter Gary Sheffield missed time with a torn tendon in his left ring finger. Sheffield is playing again, but he's hitting .167 (4-for-24) with no extra-base hits and one RBI on a bases-loaded walk. [link]
