It's not terribly surprising that Scott Boras felt the need to address the Pittsburgh media after Frank Coonelly's comments the other day, and it's also not surprising that he didn't talk much about Pedro Alvarez. Yankees / Pirates strike a deal

Rumors out Pittsburgh are that the New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Pirates have struck a deal. The rumors began before tonight’s Pirates game but picked up steam when Xavier Nady was pulled after the first inning. The deal calls for Nady and Damaso Marte to join the Yankees.
