    They're not really influenced by Steve Nash so much as the Sons of Ben, a group out of Philly that has 1,000+ members now.  They figure since SOBs have helped Philly's prospects of getting an MLS club, they can do the same.

    Sons of Ben is only one year old, though, so theire influence on anyone is very recent.  This NYC group was influenced by Nash and other crossover athletes they knew prior to that.  The Borough Boys will have a hard road in the near term, but they have many big $ supporters...so who knows.
