Does any one think Boston Red Sox slugger Manny Ramirez was happy to get back to Fenway Park after having a rough road trip. During the trip he looked lost at the plate as his timing was off. He even got the night off (he did strikeout on 3 pitches as pinch-hitter) on Sunday night. Monday night he came up in a big spot when his single drove in the only run of the game.

He was last night’s hero and he was one of the hero’s tonight as his 2-run home run tied the game at 5 and Brandon Moss followed a few batters later with an RBI single as the Boston Red Sox rallied to 6-5 win over the Minnesota Twins in front of 37,925 very happy fans at Fenway Park.

The 18 runs were a season high as well for the Red Sox. The win for the Red Sox moved them to 2 games out in the AL East as the Yankees beat the Rays 2-1.
