It was a good night last night for the Boston Red Sox. David Ortiz and Jacoby Ellsbury seem to be turning the page on slumps that have plagued them recently and Dice-K continued his Houdini act of getting out of trouble by inducing 4 double plays last night, 3 off the bat of A.J. Emotion Not Part of the Ramirez Dump

Emotion may have not been a role in the Manny Ramirez trade, but I think Shaun Payne is WAY off in his evaluation of the Manny, Jason Bay deal. Payne suggestion that the Sox got the better end of the deal is ludicrous. To me Bay is an above average player who has ZERO expereince in any big games. Sure Manny is getting up there in age but he is still one of the most feared players in the game.
