... I am not sure why Gordon Edes spends this entire article tying David Ortiz to several of the most suspicious characters of the last decade+, and I am not certain he means anything by it, but you'd think that the Sox scribe would be a little more aware of the idea that clutchness is somewhat based on luck and a little more sensitive to the overall context of his article, particularly considering the recent milestone reached by a certain someone out in San Francisco.  Brady Anderson, LuGo, Bonds, McGwire, Sosa, Ortiz.  This is the stream of names that erupt from Edes' keyboard. Is one of these kids not like the other?
