The Rockets had won 22 games in a row and had vaulted to the top of the “tougher” Western Conference. But they were sawed in two by the Celtics, especially during the second half where the Cs outscored them by 20 points which turned out to be final margin. Brilliant second half by the Celtics. Textbook really. On both ends. The game was tied at 40 when the teams went to the locker room but it was a 54-34 trashing by the Cs after they returned. Houston had ...
