Celts Telfair unhappy with himself?

... Sebastian Telfair is not a happy man at all that he’s gone from the Celtics’ starter at point guard to third on the depth chart. First Delonte West took the spot, then Saturday night coach Doc Rivers put words to what the minutes category has been saying the last three games: Rajon Rondo [stats] has passed Telfair. “Oh, I’m overly pissed,” Telfair said. But it’s not Rivers who’s drawing Telfair’s ire. “I’m pissed at myself,” he said. “I can’t be pissed at nobody else. Me being on the bench now, I can’t possibly see it having to do with anybody besides myself.”

... In the Herald, Bulpett tells us that Bassy is blaming himself for his demotion. Once the starter, Telfair has now been relegated to 3rd PG and 6-7 minutes a game. He is determined to get his spot back and so the competition among the PGs can only be good for the team. My thoughts are that West should start at the 2 alongside either Telfair or Rondo and bring Wally off the bench. That way we give West the minutes he deserves and play to his strengths as a shooting guard and we give both of our young PGs minutes. Also discussed is the long span in which we haven't beaten the Spurs. Players realize that it will take a virtually mistake free game in order to win this time.
