JIM BOWDEN First comment: We worked extremely hard and were unable to sign Aaron Crow, our first-round pick. We were extremely competitive in trying to sign him. We offered a major league contract. Dollar wise, we offered more than Brian Matusz got, the fourth pick in the draft, who was signed by the Orioles.
