Bowen Commemorates Longevity Milestone By Stomping Chris Paul's Jewels

... kicking Wally Szczerbiak in the grill. The occasion? Bowen's 500th straight start -- the longest active streak. On that occasion, The Rash (apparently) decided to (try to) smash Chris Paul's grapes. Of course! Sometimes, I feel like Bruce is some avant-garde performance artist, building his oeuvre for some big seminar at Yale. And the guards of the NBA must suffer for The Rash's art. How to Kick a Man When He's Down, Draw the Foul
Published 3/13/2008 at The Sporting Blog
... how replay works? Everyone is going to see that you just tried to kick Chris Paul in his man-bits after the play was over. I'd prefer he at least owned up to it with more of a "what now, sucka!?" act than the "what happened?" charade he put on. What's weird is that this was so un-Bowen like. I mean, he's never been known to play dirty and kick other players. Oh, wait, what's that? He does this sort of stuff all the time ? Nevermind, par for the course. (HT: Odenized )

Bruce Bowen Kicks Chris Paul in the 'Man Region' to Celebrate 500th Consecutive Game

... How does this continue to persist? That is, Bruce Bowen continuing to apply cheat shot after cheap shot, and more times than not, draw a foul on the opponent. It's not so much his persistence on the cheap plays that irritates me, but his 'what, I didn't do anything' reaction. When it's this obvious, just own up to it. Kick him again for good measure while you're at it. The good news here is that New Orleans owned San Antonio 100-75. [Odenized with the vid]

I HATE BRUCE BOWEN

... of west Texas in the dead of summer. Here's Bowen cheap-shotting Chris Paul -- only the most talented point guard in the league, and by most accounts one of the smartest and nicest players as well -- with a knee to the face.  Why?  Possibly because the Hornets were kicking the Spurs' asses (they won 100-75).  But more likely because he's a cocksucker.  Oh, and the refs called the foul on Paul, of course.  The NBA: where bullshit happens.
