A's catcher Rob Bowen got his 10th start of the season Thursday, went 1-for-3 with a double to deep center field and guided Rich Harden through the hard-throwing right-hander's most dominant start of the season. That's not why Oakland manager Bob Geren plans to get Bowen a lot more playing time from here on out, though. The schedule all but demands it. [link]

Fort Wayne native and current Oakland A’s catcher Rob Bowen, posted a double to deep center field and guided Canadian-born Rich Harden through a dominant start in his 10th start of the season. With fewer days off in the second half, Bowen looks to get more playing time according to Oakland manager Bob Geren.
