Michigan State and Boston College square off today in the Champs Sports Bowl. Yesterday, the players faced off in a talent competition and needless to say, Jon Misch's rendition of a classic Chopin piece stole the show.

Texas A&M and Penn State both finished the regular season on a totally different note. The Aggies defeated their arch-rival Texas in Austin 38-30. Penn State blew a 17 point lead in the second half to lose to Michigan State 35-31. The Nittany Lions were hoping to contend for the Big Ten title this year, but early losses to Michigan and Illinois nixed that idea.

Of the three bowl games tonight this is the only one that has a ranked team in it. Probably a ranked team that, if they had taken care of business, would be in a BCS bowl instead of this one. They lost 2 games that they should have won (Florida State and Maryland) and this is the result.
