... That's not hard to imagine since, in the somewhat convoluted Bronco hierarchy, Shanahan, in his dual VP and coach roles, was both above and below Sundquist. That must have made for some awkward situations. How does a GM suggest changes to his boss when his boss may be the one who the GM wants to change? And change was demanded by Bowlen. ...
